Gaeta and Frontignan la Peyrade, have been twin towns since 1997. The French town looks out the Mediterranean Sea and many of its 20.000 dwellers are originary of Gaeta.
The two towns have developed strict musical, linguistic, cultural and epistolary plans of exchanges among schools, in particular concerts, exibition of pictures, performances and sea tournaments with vintage French boats.
In August (generally the first week after mid-August), Frontignan la Peyrade organizes "La semaine italienne" (Italian week), festival of performances and musical shows with Italian artists.
A delegation of Gaeta led by the mayor is always present there.
In september, on the festivity of S. Cosma e Damiano, Gaeta gives hospitality to the delegation of Frontignan la Peyrade led by the French Mayor.
